The ixa1 chat has special commands which allow for advanced actions that are not in the graphical user interface. Some of these commands are available to everyone on the chat, while some require a specific rank or power in order for them to work which can be changed via Gcontrol. Here, you will find a list of available commands along with their names, a description of what they do, what they require(rank or power wise) and how to use them.

Default "/" Commands

The following commands can be used by everyone on the chat though some require a specific rank or power.

"/o" Known as the Smiley Effects command

This will command the chat box to automatically add effects to all the smilies you send on the chat. This command can be used by everyone on the chat regardless of their rank. It does, however, require specific powers in order for the effects to work.

Usage:

Type /o in main chat, followed by the code of the smiley effect. See below for examples.

Example 1: if you would like your smilies to appear a specific color such as white, you would type /offffff where ffffff would be a color hex code. Just copy a color hex code from here and without the # sign, add it to the command and hit enter. Your smilies should now appear the color you chose. Note you need color powers Red, Blue, Green, Light to do this.

Example 2: if you would like your smilies to appear with a bouncing effect, you would type /oballfx where ballfx would be the bouncing effect. Note you need the power Ballfx to do this.

"/f" Known as the Add as Friend by ID command

This command allows you to add someone as a friend if they are not online, assuming you know their ID (identification number). This command can be used by everyone on the chat regardless of their rank and doesn't require any specific powers in order for it to work.

Usage:

Type /f in main chat, followed by the users ID (identification number) Example: /f12345678 where 12345678 would be the users ID, and hit enter. This will add the user to your friends list. Note they will be shown as their ID number on your friends list until they're online and you click on their name. Their nickname will then be shown instead.

"/t" Known as the Ignore a User command

This command gives you an alternative way to ignore a user other than clicking their name and clicking the Ignore button. This command can be used by everyone on the chat regardless of their rank and doesn't require any specific powers in order for it to work.

Usage:

Open a private chat with the user you wish to ignore, and type /t. This will place the user on ignore and you will no longer be able to see any of their messages in PC or main chat unless you're a main owner, owner or moderator on the chat you ignored them on. If you have the TTTH power, and the user also has an open PC with you, an animation will be shown to the user as an indication that you ignored them. If you wish to un-ignore a user, open a private chat with them, and type the command again.

"/+ or /-" Known as the Enable or Disable Powers commands

The /+ command will enable any power you have disabled on your powers list. The /- command will disable any power you have enabled on your powers list. These commands can be used by everyone on the chat regardless of their rank and don't require any specific powers in order for them to work. However, if you don't have any powers to enable or disable, these commands won't do anything.

Usage:

If you would like to enable a power, type /+ in main chat, followed by the name of the power. Example: /+gold. This will enable the Gold Pawn Power.

If you would like to disable a power, type /- in main chat, followed by the name of the power. Example: /-gold. This will disable the Gold Pawn Power.

"/go" Known as the Moving from a chat to another command

This command allows you to move from one chat to another without having to load the chat's page on another tab on your browser, assuming you know the name of the chat you wish to go to. This command can be used by everyone on the chat regardless of their rank and doesn't require any specific powers in order for it to work.

Usage:

Type /go in main chat, followed by the name of the chat you wish to move to. Example: /gohelp where help is the name of the chat, and hit enter. You will be automatically disconnected and reconnected at that chat.

"/s" Known as the Scroll Message command

This command allows you to set a scrolling message which will be displayed on the chat to the bottom of the typing box. This command can only be used by main owners and owners by default. However, this can be changed via Gcontrol.

Usage:

Type /s in main chat, followed by a custom message. Example: /sWelcome to my chat! and hit enter. This message will then be shown scrolling at the bottom of the typing box on the chat.

You can also color your scroll message by adding a color hex code at the end of the message. Example: /sWelcome to my chat!#ffffff where #ffffff would be the color hex code and hit enter. This will display your scrolling message in white.

"/p" Known as the Protect your group from raids command

If your chat is being abused by raid bots, you can use this command to turn on chat protection mode. Type /p in main chat. This will stop new guests from talking for a default time of 60 minutes. This can be changed via Gcontrol.

If you find that /p isn't working, you can try the following alternatives.

/pr Set your chat to registered users only. This will stop unregistered users from being able to sign in to your chat.

/pm Set your chat to members only. This will stop both unregistered and registered guests from being able to sign in to your chat.
