ixa1.tk, an alternative version of the popular social networking service xat.com, was created to be a fun and social place for everyone. But typically, there are people who come online with the intention of inflicting some type of harm on others or the site itself. Fortunately, we have a guide here to give tips and advice to help you stay safe on our site.

Safety Tips

  • Never give out your personal information to anyone. (Including phone numbers, emails, passwords, etc.)
  • You should use a nickname, not your real name. Try using one that doesn't attract the wrong attention. (An appropriate one.)
  • Never agree to meet someone from the internet. Remember they are strangers and be careful who you trust.
  • You should not include any personal information on your ixa1space profile.
  • If someone is making you feel uncomfortable, place them on ignore by clicking their name and clicking the Ignore button.
  • Do not click links from people you do not know, it could be an attempt to steal your information.
  • Most importantly overall, be careful who you trust, some people do not have good intentions.

Ignore & Banning

If you stumble upon a user who's making you feel uncomfortable, you may click their name and click Ignore, or if you are in a Private Chat with them type /t this also places them on Ignore.

If the chat has rules about things the user has said to you, please contact the moderators or owners of the chat with a pc or pm.

If you're a moderator or owner, please make sure the rules state that what the user did was not acceptable in that chat, then take appropriate action.

If all else fails, you always have the ability to find another chat on ixa1.tk/chats.

Hacking Threats

We will always try our best to keep your information safe from malicious users. All of your information is secured on our own servers and not accessible to other users. It is important to never go to hyper links a malicious user or often normal users send you. They are likely trying to Phish you. We have confidence that following this guide and using ixa1 chat sensibly you will be protected against hackers.

Foul Language

If somebody is using bad language, you may ignore them to stop receiving these messages. You can also click your name, and check "Hide inappropriate words".

Inappropriate Chats

If you find a chat that has inappropriate content in the background, description, or anywhere on the chat, click "Inappropriate" under the chat box on the right and fill out the information. This will send a report to us and we will take appropriate action. You can also report a chat if any of it's staff are being abusive, especially when the chat is on promotion.

Note: you may not be notified of any action taken.

Inappropriate ixa1space Profiles

If you find a profile that has inappropriate content in the background, about box, or media box, click "Report Profile" under the users avatar on their profile and fill out the information. Just like reporting an inappropriate chat, this will send a report to us, and we will take appropriate action.

Note: you may not be notified of any action taken.

"What if an ixa1 staff member was rude to me?"

First, please ensure that the user was infact ixa1 staff, as often users will try to impersonate them. ixa1 staff have ID's below 6, and will appear as ixa1 staff on the user list. Above all, ixa1 staff will never be purposely rude to anyone.

The guide you have just read covers how to stay safe on ixa1 chat.
